In collaboration with another artist we created a powerful series of minimal poster art to address the misleading use of the word ‘PEACE’ in today’s society and how it has become a tool of oppression to keep to oppressed pacified and unable to break free of their chains. Peace is commonly seen as the goal but without condition, instead of collective liberation where we see true freedom for all. The aim of the art is to invoke action in the viewer to question the norm and break the peace when it is achieved without justice.

Our work was selected by the festival from over 700 applicants and displayed in the streets of Bologna, Italy over the summer of 2024 at the CHEAP international festival of poster art.
